Khanapur : An open district-level skating competition organized jointly by the Belgaum District Roller Skating Association and Sai Sports Academy Khanapur was recently held with great enthusiasm at the skating rink of Maratha Mandal, Khanapur. Skaters and parents from across the district participated enthusiastically in the event.
Former MLA Arvind Patil attended the inauguration and prize distribution ceremony as the chief guest. He felicitated the winners by presenting medals and encouraged the participants with guidance on skating, fitness, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He also assured full support and encouragement to skaters from Belgaum in their future endeavors.
On this occasion, Ashok Gore of Skate Park, Prasad Jadhav and Rajlaxmi Jadhav of Sai Sports Academy, skating coach Suryakant Hindlegekar, Yogesh Kulkarni, Rushikesh Pasare, Soham Hindlegekar, along with officials of the Belgaum District Roller Skating Association, skaters, and parents were present in large numbers.
