BAMA Celebrates 80th Independence Day at Fort Road

Belgaum: The Belgaum Automobile Merchants Association (BAMA) celebrated the 80th Independence Day at Fort Road with patriotic fervour. Automobile dealers and association office-bearers attended the flag-hoisting ceremony and later participated in a meeting at the association hall.

Chief Guest Om Prakash Vaishnav hoisted the national flag in the presence of BAMA President Sharad P. Patil and other office-bearers.

During the meeting, members discussed the future of the automobile business and various small and day-to-day difficulties faced by dealers. BAMA President Sharad P. Patil briefed the members about the progress made in resolving issues with the support of government officials and elected representatives.

President Sharad P. Patil expressed gratitude to North MLA Raju Sait, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan and Police Commissioner Bhushan Gulabrao Borase for improving traffic management, listening to the concerns of automobile dealers and taking steps to resolve their problems.

Patil assured members that BAMA would stand by them and approach the concerned authorities whenever they face difficulties while running their businesses.

BAMA also thanked Samarth Khude for taking responsibility for the arrangements of the programme.

BAMA President Sharad P. Patil, Secretary Kamruddin Saudagar, former President Firoz Khan, former Secretary Manjeet Singh Kohli, Wahab, Amjad, Suhas Patil, Sham Dhamune, Willson, Shambhu, Gopal Prajapat, Vishal Patil, Sanjay Masekar, Arun Tapaskar and others were present.
