Belgaum City Corporation-Owned Ganesh Idol Immersion Tank at Vadgaon in Pathetic Condition; Mahamandal Conducts Spot Inspection

Belgaum: Office bearers of the Madhyavarti Sarvajanik Shri Ganesh Utsav Mahamandal visited the Ganesh idol immersion tank owned by the Belgaum City Corporation (BCC) at Nazar Camp on Vadgaon Main Road on Tuesday, August 11, to inspect its condition ahead of the upcoming Ganesh festival.

During the inspection, the delegation found the immersion tank to be in a neglected and poor state. The members discussed the urgent need for cleaning, repairs, and other necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth, safe, and hassle-free immersion of Ganesh idols during the festival.

The Mahamandal urged the Belgaum City Corporation to take immediate action to restore the immersion tank and complete all essential maintenance work before the commencement of Ganeshotsav, ensuring convenience and safety for devotees.

Those present during the inspection included Ramakant Konduskar, Vikas Kalghatgi, Manohar Halgekar, Dnyaneshwar Mannurkar, Amol Desai, Sanjay Shinde, Rajendra Birje, Sagar Patil, Mahadev Patil, Shivaraj Patil, Sunil Bokade, Rajendra Bailoor, Bharat Nagroli, Uday Patil, and Gunawant Patil.
