A science camp was inaugurated on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Atal Tinkering Lab of Marathi Vidyaniketan School in Belgaum. The camp received an enthusiastic response from students, with a total of 34 students from various schools participating in the initiative.
The inauguration ceremony was uniquely conducted through science experiments presented by students of Marathi Vidyaniketan who had achieved distinction in the SSLC examination. Their innovative demonstrations attracted appreciation from the attendees.
The event was attended by School Development Committee President Subhash Oulkar, Vice President Suresh Patil, Secondary Section Headmaster N. C. Udkekar, Primary Section Headmaster B. G. Patil, Education Coordinator Savita Pawar, Education Organizer Neela Apte, Gauri Oulkar and students.
The science camp will continue from May 12 to May 23. Through this initiative, students will learn science and technology through practical experiments and hands-on activities. Organizers stated that the camp aims to develop students’ creativity, innovative thinking and scientific temperament.
