Nipani: Nipani Municipal Commissioner Ganapati Patil on Thursday conducted an on-site inspection of the layout in Survey No. 190B (1 & 2), where the Chikodi Sub-Divisional Administration has imposed a stay on plot sales.
Accompanied by municipal officials and staff, the Commissioner reviewed the site and directed the concerned officers to initiate necessary action. Officials informed that the Chikodi ADLR (Assistant Director of Land Records) office will soon undertake an official survey and measurement of the entire layout.
During the inspection, Commissioner Patil also observed the poor condition of the road connecting the layout to the Nipani–Murgud Road and instructed officials to temporarily improve the stretch by laying murrum until permanent work is undertaken.
The inspection is expected to expedite the administrative process related to the disputed layout.
