Belgaum: Skaters from the Belgaum District Roller Skating Association delivered an impressive performance at a roller skating championship held in Goa, winning a total of seven medals. The competition took place at Chinchinim, Goa, and featured participation from more than 300 top skaters from different regions.
The Belgaum skaters showcased remarkable talent by securing six gold medals and one bronze medal in the tournament.
Pranika Motekar won two silver medals and one bronze medal, while Arshan Madiwale emerged as one of the star performers by clinching three gold medals. Preetam Bagewadi also bagged three gold medals with an outstanding display.
All the skaters train at the KLE Society Skating Rink and Good Shepherd Skating Rink under the guidance of coaches Suryakant Hindalgekar, Vitthal Gangane, Vishal Vesane, Yogesh Kulkarni, Vishwanath Yellurkar and Soham Hindalgekar.
The players have also received encouragement and support from Dr. Prabhakar Kore, former MLA Shyam Ghatage, Raj Ghatage, Umesh Kalghatgi, Prasad Tendulkar and Nikhil Chindak.
