Appeal for All-Party Meeting for Nipani’s Overall Development

Nipani : Ahead of the upcoming Nipani Municipal elections, Four JR Human Rights Care Organization has appealed to all aspiring candidates to come together for an all-party meeting focused on the city’s overall development.

In a press statement, the organization stated that elections in the history of Nipani Municipality have always been conducted peacefully and in a friendly atmosphere. Around 200 aspirants are expected to contest from 31 wards in the upcoming elections, and every candidate is entering the fray with the vision of contributing to Nipani’s progress.

The organization has urged all national, state-level, and independent aspirants to jointly hold a meeting before the election process begins and prepare a common development manifesto focusing on key civic issues.

The proposed discussion topics include rejuvenation and desilting of Jawahar Lake, repair and construction of roads, streetlights, drains and gutters, removal of encroachments, preparation of a revised master plan for the city, beautification of Nipani’s entry points, resolution of issues related to the lake dug near Datt Open Theatre, improving facilities at Gandhi Hospital, and restarting the city’s only traffic signal.

The organization further emphasized that the election should become a “friendly contest for development” rather than a platform for personal allegations and counter-allegations. Whoever gets elected should fulfill the promises made to citizens and work sincerely for the city’s progress over the next five years, the statement added.

The appeal has been issued by Four JR Human Rights Care Organization (CIN: U85300KA2022NPL164010).
