In a heartwarming act of honesty, Jayashree Furniture owner and senior Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti leader from Dhamane division, Yallappa Remanache, returned a bag containing cash and important documents to its rightful owner in Belgaum.
According to reports, a family from Chikhale village in Khanapur taluk had visited Jayashree Furniture showroom at Udyambag on Sunday evening to purchase furniture. During the visit, they accidentally left behind a bag containing cash and important documents inside the shop.
The family later realized the bag was missing and searched for it, but could not locate it. However, on Monday morning, when Yallappa Remanache opened the shop, he found the bag and immediately contacted the family after verifying the ownership details.
The bag reportedly contained cash amounting to ₹75,810, Aadhaar cards, bank passbooks and other important documents. All the belongings were safely handed over to the family.
Yallappa Remanache’s honest gesture has been widely appreciated by people from various sections of society, with many praising his integrity and sense of responsibility.
