Shribhakti Mahila Cooperative Credit Society Launches Gold Loan Scheme; 28th Annual General Meeting Held

Belgaum: Shribhakti Mahila Cooperative Credit Society has launched a new Gold Loan Scheme for the benefit of its members, Chairperson Jyoti Agrawal announced while addressing the Society’s 28th Annual General Meeting held on Sunday at Shrimata Hall, New Goodshed Road.

Speaking on the occasion, Agrawal said the sharp rise in gold prices has made it difficult for many people to meet their financial needs. Keeping members’ interests in mind, the Society has introduced a convenient and beneficial Gold Loan Scheme. She added that the Society continues to grow through transparent operations, timely loan disbursement, efficient recovery of dues, and member-focused services. The Society recorded a net profit of ₹29.78 lakh during the financial year.

Director Shweta Desai welcomed the members and presented the annual report. She said the Society has consistently secured an ‘A’ Grade due to its transparent and disciplined administration. She also informed that the Society achieved an annual turnover of ₹66.83 crore and has working capital of ₹28.87 crore. The annual report, profit and loss account, and balance sheet were presented and unanimously approved by the members.

Society Manager Atul Kulkarni presented the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.

Directors Vandana Chavan, Shobha Killekar, Kalpana Desai, Jyoti Patil, and Shraddha Rewankar were present on the dais. Shraddha Rewankar proposed the vote of thanks, while Recovery Officer Sunil Patil and the entire staff played a key role in the successful conduct of the meeting.
