Renowned Artist Chandrashekhar Rangnekar Conducts Painting Workshop at Benonsmith College of Fine Arts

Belgaum, June 6: Benonsmith College of Fine Arts organised a special painting workshop by renowned Belgaum artist Chandrashekhar Rangnekar, offering students an opportunity to learn from his rich artistic experience and creative techniques. The workshop was attended by Principal Vrinda Chen and Akshay Bapat from Art Affairs magazine.

During the session, Akshay Bapat introduced students to art exhibitions, museums, and various career opportunities in the field of fine arts. He also shared insights into Chandrashekhar Rangnekar’s artistic journey and his notable contributions to the world of art.

As part of the workshop, Rangnekar presented a live painting demonstration, explaining the creative process behind his artwork. He emphasised the importance of observation, concentration, consistency, and imagination in developing artistic skills.

The workshop provided students with a valuable opportunity to understand the working methods of an experienced artist and explore different artistic mediums. The live demonstration received an enthusiastic response from the participants.

An interactive question-and-answer session was held at the end of the programme, where students cleared their doubts and interacted directly with the artist. The workshop concluded in an inspiring atmosphere with the participation of a large number of art students.
