Late Narayanrao Modagekar Foundation Distributes Educational Kits to Students

Belgaum: In memory of Late Narayan Chudamani Modagekar, the Late Narayan Chudamani Modagekar Foundation organized the distribution of educational kits to students of Ranzhunjar High School, Vidyamandir, and Convent School, Nilji, institutions run by the Ranzhunjar Education Society.

The program was presided over by Mrs. Vimaltai Ashokrao Modagekar, President of the Ranzhunjar Education Society. Mr. Bhausaheb Modagekar, Vice President of the Foundation, attended as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included Amar Modagekar, Tushar Modagekar, Renuka Modagekar, and Sidray Varpe.

The event commenced with a prayer rendered by students. Mrs. Savita Akshimani, Headmistress of Convent School, delivered the introductory address and explained the objective behind the initiative. A floral tribute was paid to the portrait of Late Narayanrao Modagekar by Lakshman Gomanache and Maruti Gadekar.

Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Modagekar highlighted the life and contributions of Late Narayanrao Modagekar, emphasizing his commitment to education, social welfare, and ethical values. He encouraged students to pursue academic excellence and contribute positively to society.

In his address, Lakshman Gomanache stated that Nilji’s recognition in the truck body-building and painting industry was largely due to the vision, hard work, and guidance of Late Narayanrao Modagekar, crediting him for the village’s growth in the sector.

Educational materials were subsequently distributed to deserving and underprivileged students of the institution. The initiative was widely appreciated for motivating students and supporting their educational journey.

The program was compered by Supriya Kadam, while Ujjwala Donkari proposed the vote of thanks. Headmasters Y.P. Pavale and Somnath Kurangi, teaching and non-teaching staff, along with a large number of students, were present.

Foundation members stated that the initiative was aimed at preserving the educational and social legacy of Late Narayanrao Modagekar and that similar programs would continue in the future for the overall development of students.
