Belgaum Youth Hoist the National Flag at the World’s Highest Motorable Road

Belgaum: A group of adventurous youths from Belgaum successfully reached Umling La, the world’s highest motorable road, and proudly hoisted the Indian National Flag, marking a memorable achievement.

Situated at an altitude of approximately 19,024 feet above sea level, Umling La offered the team a breathtaking experience. The participants described the moment of seeing the Tricolour flutter at such a remarkable height as one of immense pride that words could hardly express.

They said the expedition was not just an adventure but also a journey of determination, perseverance, and fulfilling a dream. The challenging terrain and extreme altitude made the achievement even more special.

The expedition team included Kiran Goral, Vinayak Chougule, Prasanna Chougule, Rishikesh Jadhav, Kiran Kadam Patil, Nitin Chavan, Shreeshant Chavan, and Suraj Bhosale. Their accomplishment has been widely appreciated and congratulated by people in Belgaum.
