Belgaum: The 21st District-Level Roller Skating Championship, organized by the Belgaum District Roller Skating Association, was held successfully at the skating rink of Shivganga Sports Club, Om Nagar. Young skaters from across the district showcased their talent and competitive spirit during the event.
The inauguration and prize distribution ceremony was graced by social workers Ashok Ghagve and Kallappa Shahapurkar as chief guests. The dignitaries felicitated the winners by presenting medals and encouraging the participants for their outstanding performances.
Skating coaches Suryakant Hindalgekar and Vishwanath Yellurkar, along with association members, skaters, parents and sports enthusiasts, were present in large numbers.
Several skaters delivered remarkable performances and secured gold, silver and bronze medals in their respective categories. Among the notable winners were Pranishmita Wadakeri, Viha Palankude, Vighnesh Gote, Pranav Jadhav, Shivkanya Patil, Palak Pattanakud, Harshvardhan Daddikeri, Tashvi Kulkarni, Tanvi Kalkundrikar, Samruddha Bani, Hruvan Umarani, Jitesh Benalli, Sohani Chougule, Arush Borgalli, Pranav Mali, Siya Chougule, Saurabh Salokhe, Janhavi Tendulkar, Arya Kadam, Arohi Maharanur, Dhairyashil, Dinava Patil, Pritam Bagewadi, Savi, Viraj Sunve, Rohan Bagwan, Aleya Uppar, Somrani, Shalya Taralekar, Blossom Rodrigues, Tanvi Mohite, Ethan Remandis, Janavi Dudhal, Vishwatej Pawar, Arshan Madiwale and Bhagyaraj Patil, among many others.
The event was successfully organized with the efforts of coaches and organizers including Yogesh Kulkarni, Vishal Vesne, Krishna Kanhaiya Hosamani, Rishikesh Pasare, Soham Hindalgekar, Ajit Shiledar, Suraj Shinde, Ashutosh and Drushti Kudale, along with several volunteers and supporters.
The championship provided an excellent platform for young athletes to display their skills and further promoted roller skating in the district.
