Khanapur MES Submits Memorandum on Fertilizer Supply and Power Issues

Khanapur: The Khanapur Taluka Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti submitted a memorandum to the Tahsildar demanding an uninterrupted supply of DAP and urea fertilizers for farmers in the region.

The committee stated that farmers are currently facing difficulties due to the shortage of fertilizers and urged the administration to ensure adequate availability of DAP and urea during the farming season.

The Samiti also submitted a separate memorandum to the Assistant Engineer of HESCOM demanding immediate measures to restore smooth and regular electricity supply in rural areas. Frequent power disruptions have caused inconvenience to both farmers and residents, the memorandum stated.

Several committee members and activists were present during the submission of the memorandums, including Prakash Chavan, Working President Muralidhar Patil, Youth Committee President Dhananjay Patil, Ajit Patil, Jaysingrao Patil, Prakash Patil, Shivaji Patil, Krishna Mannolkar, Amrut Shelar, S.H. Gurav, Pundalik Patil, Nagesh Bhosale, Sandesh Kodachwadkar, Gopal Patil, Pandurang Sawant, Ramesh Dhabale and V.V. Patil.
