Belagavi: Tabla and guitar classes have been started at Varekar Natya Sangh in Tilakwadi under the initiative of Tarang Academy led by Vishal Modak. The classes were inaugurated by Jagdish Kunte, secretary of Varekar Natya Sangh, by cutting the ribbon.
Retired teacher of Marathi Training College, Suresh Nazare, was the chief guest for the occasion. Speaking at the event, Jagdish Kunte said, “Activities related to literature, theatre, cinema, music, dance and fine arts are continuously being conducted here. Varekar Natya Sangh is steadily growing as an inclusive cultural centre and art lovers should make the best use of these opportunities.”
Vishal Modak welcomed the guests and attendees at the beginning of the programme. Samira Modak along with students presented a prayer song. Several art enthusiasts, students and parents were present during the inauguration ceremony.
The organisers informed that guitar classes will be conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays, while tabla classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
